Direct Deposit

No more rush hour traffic and long lines thanks to the convenience of direct deposit. Most employers can electronically deposit your paycheck or pension check to your Share Savings, Checking, or Checking with Dividends Account. Also, Social Security checks must be direct deposited.

  • Your checks can never be lost or stolen. You'll never have to worry about misplacing a check or losing it while running errands. It could take your employer up to 10 days to stop payment on a missing check and issue you a replacement.
  • Have immediate access to your money. Checks deposited at an ATM can take up to two business days to clear. With Direct Deposit, you can immediately start writing checks, making purchases with your Visa® Check Card, or make no-fee cash withdrawals at any CU Anytime or CO-OP Network ATM as soon as your payroll is posted to your Credit Union account.
  • Keep your income confidential. Because Direct Deposit is electronic, your payroll or retirement payment information is kept private.
  • Payroll deduction is an effortless way to save. One of your options with Direct Deposit is to have part of your payroll automatically deposited to a savings, retirement, Vacation Club, or Holiday Club account. "Pay yourself first" before paying your bills!
  • Make loan payments automatically, too. You could have your Credit Union loan payments taken out of your payroll deposit. You won't have to visit a branch office or send loan payment checks by mail. It's all done electronically. And you'll never have to worry about late payment fees!
