Community Rewards

Change our community, one purchase at a time.

With well over 100,000 members, New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union demonstrates “The Power of WE” – the ability of a not-for-profit cooperative to provide superior financial services. As further evidence of our commitment to the communities we serve, we also demonstrate “The Power of Community” through our rewards program.

With Community Rewards you earn a 0.25% cash reward with every signature-based transaction that you make with your Visa® Debit Card* and your Credit Union contributes a cash reward to the community and category of your choice as well. The exclusive Community Rewards Program is available with any personal checking accounts.

This program is made possible by your financial partnership with the Credit Union.  Together we are investing in the communities in which we live, work and serve.

*Minimum Transactions per Month:  Community Rewards are earned on a monthly basis and awarded on a yearly basis. To earn your Community Rewards for the month you must have 10 or more signature-based transactions during that month.

All signature-based transactions will still count towards Community Rewards to non-profits, regardless if the member meets the minimum transactions per month. A maximum of $500,000 per year will be distributed to community organizations.

The Community Rewards Program period runs from January 1, 2013 until December 31, 2013 and the cash rewards will be deposited in eligible accounts in early 2014.
