You have four Direct Deposit options to choose from:

  1. Open a membership with New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union.
  2. Acquire a breeze Reloadable Visa® Debit Card with New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union.
  3. Enroll in the Payroll Distribution Program with New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union.
  4. Direct Deposit with your current bank or credit union.
     

UNM employees and their family members are eligible for membership with New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union. Open your membership with as little as $5. 

Click here to join New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union online, visit a branch location or contact the Call Center at 889-7755 (800-347-2838 from outside the Albuquerque area). You must have a valid government issued photo ID to open a membership. We accept ITINs.

Not looking for a typical checking or savings account? The breeze Reloadable Visa Debit Card lets you load money to a card and use it anywhere Visa is accepted. You can start using your breeze Reloadable Visa Debit Card by loading $25. Apply online now.

You have several convenient ways to reload your breeze card including: enrolling in Direct Deposit, through a CU Anytime ATM, by using Mobile Deposit on your mobile device, by transferring money from your other accounts using Internet Banking or through the Funds Transfer service.

Even if you don't want a bank account or reloadable Visa debit card, you can still have your funds directly deposited with the Payroll Distribution Program through New Mexico Educators FCU. Through the Payroll Distribution Program you can withdraw any portion of your funds, up to 100% at any New Mexico Educators FCU branch. You can also withdraw up to $500.00 a day with your Payroll Card at over 200 CU Anytime ATMs throughout New Mexico.

This is not a membership account and your credit will not be checked. You must have a valid government issued photo ID to enroll. We accept ITINs. You must visit a New Mexico Educators FCU branch to open this account. You will receive your account information in the mail from the Credit Union in 3-5 business days.

Follow the steps below to enroll your Direct Deposit with the UNM Payroll Department.   


Contact your bank or credit union to obtain the information needed to complete enrollment.

Steps to enroll your Direct Deposit information.

  1. Log into MyUNM Portal 
  2. Select LoboWeb from the Employee Life tab
  3. Select Pay Information
  4. Select Direct Deposit Allocation (you will see your current Direct Deposit information)
  5. Scroll down and select Update Direct Deposit Allocation
  6. Select a bank name
  7. Enter the bank routing number and account information to add Direct Deposit
  8. Save your information
